Carnegie Science CenterCarnegie Science Center, located on Pittsburgh's North Shore by the banks of the Ohio River, provides visitors of all ages with the opportunity to experience UPMC SportsWorks, the world’s largest science and sport exhibition, travel the world in the four-story Rangos Omnimax Theater, explore the universe in Buhl Planetarium, take a tour aboard a WWII submarine and interact with more than 300 hands-on exhibits. The Science Center is an exciting, interactive facility that recognizes the critical role science plays in our technological world. It remains committed to presenting science that is entertaining, accessible, relevant and understandable in order to foster the interests of both children and adults in the region. |
